The most common and popular is the 2-year associate degree program for x-ray technicians. One of the important aspects to consider while enrolling for a course at the x ray technician schools is that the course chosen by you should be accredited. Most x-ray technician courses are accredited by The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. The minimum requirement to get admission in a radiography program is high school diploma or any equivalent diploma or degree. The Federal Government has made licensure mandatory for e-ray technicians in 40 states for practicing.
